John is the managing shareholder of the firm. He joined BHE in 1985 having served in both the public accounting and private industry areas. He became a partner in 1989 and president of the firm in 1993. John is a certified public accountant and has been practicing in the Nebraska area since 1981. He is a certified valuation analyst, certified financial planner, and a licensed insurance agent.

John works closely with business owners and individuals providing them with accounting, tax and business consulting services, business valuations and negotiations, and due diligence. With his insurance expertise, he is also able to provide a wide range of risk management services.

John has been a member of the AICPA and Nebraska Society of CPAs since 1981 and a member of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts.

A graduate of Creighton University in 1969 with a Degree in Business Administration with an Accounting major, John actively supports both the academic and athletic programs of the University.
